Note - Experience in teaching, content development, or as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) is mandatory. Candidates without experience in at least one of these areas will not be considered.

Job Responsibility

• Work on digital projects meant to cater to the K-5 segment
• Conduct research and analysis on learners and contexts vis--vis the requirements
• Work with subject matter experts to identify learning / training needs and ensure content generation / review to the scope of work and Extramarks standards.
• Take up tasks like reviewing, developing content, proof reading, creating illustration briefs, checking content for plagiarism, and researching content
• State instructional end goals and create content that matches them ensuring teachinglearning methodologies are translated into practice
• Create / review / edit storyboards, engaging learning / practice activities, assignments,assessments, and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to create content for digital use digital media,visualising instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
• Maintain clean project documentation through the course of work.

Additional Information

• Over 7 years of experience of working with a range of digital educational / academic projects for K-5 and managing multi-component projects.
• Previous experience with content development for digital courses for K-5 is a must .
• Experience working as an instructional designer / school teaching experience for grades K-5 will be an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of the subject of academic specialisation.
• Understanding of CBSE, ICSE curricula and NEP
• Impeccable language skills.
• Well-versed with Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Understanding of teaching-learning methodologies / theories in practice .
• Ability to develop content, especially storyboards .
• Sound ideation / visualisation skills Ability to write effective instructional text, audio scripts / video scripts
• Attention to detail, quality control, and an ability to engage with content at the highest level.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team .
• Ability to follow processes closely.
• Time Management scheduling and planning work; managing time competently.

• Curriculum Alignment: Align digital content with the curriculum standards and learning objectives specified for classes 6-12 mathematics.
• Content Development: Develop engaging and interactive digital content, including concept explanations, examples, illustrations, and practice exercises, covering various topics in mathematics.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and validations of content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with educational standards and guidelines.
• Pedagogical Excellence: Apply pedagogical principles and instructional design best practices to create content that promotes active learning, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding among students.
• Innovation: Explore innovative approaches and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of digital learning materials, keeping abreast of the latest trends and advancements in mathematics education.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, graphic designers, and multimedia developers, to integrate content seamlessly into digital learning platforms.
• Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from educators, students, and other stakeholders to continuously improve and refine digital content.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, insights, and support to internal teams on mathematics-related content and pedagogy.
