Students: name, email, profile photo, college, degree, graduation year, skills, LinkedIn/GitHub links, and application history.
Startups: company name, contact name and email, website, industry, and project details.
We do not collect payment card details directly. Project payments are coordinated manually by our team.
Your information is used to verify your profile, calculate skill-match percentages for project applications, enable messaging between matched students and startups, issue certificates, and send you notifications about your account activity (in-app, and by email if you've enabled it in Settings).
Your profile is reviewed by our admin team during verification. A matched startup can see a student's full name and profile once officially matched to their project. Startup identity is kept private from public view until a match is confirmed. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data is stored using Supabase, with database infrastructure hosted in the Tokyo (ap-northeast-1) region. Access is restricted using row-level security, meaning your data is only accessible to you, matched counterparts (once matched), and platform administrators.
You can update most of your profile information directly from your dashboard. To request a copy of your data, a correction, or account/data deletion, email support@upnxtwork.com. Every such request is handled personally, not automatically.
We use your browser's local storage to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode) and to keep you logged in between visits. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting, and Zoho Mail for sending platform emails. These providers process data only as necessary to provide their service to us.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
