Yes. The Basic plan is free forever and includes 3 applications a month, founder chat, a project workspace, certificates and a portfolio page. Optional paid plans (Pro and Premium) start after a 45-day free trial. Log in to your student account to see them.
Student and startup profiles that are 75% complete or more are verified automatically, no waiting on a queue. Below that, our admin team reviews it by hand, typically within 24-48 hours. Project briefs and problem statements are always reviewed by our team before they go live, regardless of profile completion. If your review has taken longer than 48 hours, contact support@upnxtwork.com or WhatsApp us.
Three things need to be true: your skill match with the project must be 50% or higher, your profile must be at least 80% complete, and you need LinkedIn and GitHub links on your profile. The apply screen tells you exactly which of these is missing.
No. The free plan lets you post 3 projects in any 30-day period. Need more projects or advanced capabilities? Contact our team on WhatsApp to explore an upgrade.
Your identity stays private until a student is officially matched to your project. This protects your hiring activity from competitors and keeps the platform focused on the work itself, not brand recognition.
Not directly. Once admin approves and publishes your project, it's locked to prevent changes to something students have already seen and applied to. If something needs to change, use the Request an Edit button on your dashboard, which notifies our team directly.
Once you're selected, open the project in My Projects and add whatever shows your work best: a short video walkthrough (about 3 minutes), a GitHub repo (private is fine), documents, prototype photos or other links. Our team reviews each version, and the business accepts it or asks for changes. You can send a new version after each review.
Hiring Opportunities come from real, verified startups on the platform, completing one earns a founder-signed certificate and Letter of Recommendation. Practice Challenges are real problems sourced from public listings (open-source projects, hackathons, job postings) that aren't tied to a registered startup, completing one earns a Practice Challenge badge, a different and clearly labeled credential.
Two people: our admin team confirms the work was actually delivered, and the startup itself signs off before the certificate is released to you. This two-step approval is what makes the certificate mean something.
The student receives the full project cost once our team confirms the work and the business approves it. UpNxtWork takes no cut of student earnings; businesses pay us only for their plan. Payment is currently coordinated manually by our team rather than through an automated gateway.
Yes. Colleges can register now and it's free for up to 100 students. Above 100 students, paid plans add advanced analytics, benchmarking, an account manager, white-label branding and ERP integration. Log in to your college account to see them. University, incubator and co-working portals open on 1 January 2027.
