Role
The Consultant shall be engaged as a Java Application Support Engineer to support application migration activities as part of a data center migration programme.
Responsibilities include application configuration, deployment, environment validation, migration support, troubleshooting, support of Podman containers and CI/CD pipelines, and coordination with infrastructure, database, network, DevOps, and application teams.
The Consultant will be assigned to work at the Client's office, and shall comply with all applicable client policies, security requirements, and procedures. The Consultant may be required to perform other related duties as reasonably assigned by the Artus Global or Client.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Java application migration to the target data center.
- Perform application configuration, deployment and environment validation.
- Support migration rehearsals, cutover and post-migration validation.
- Troubleshoot application, deployment and connectivity issues.
- Support Podman containers and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, database, network and DevOps teams.
