About this internship
Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Care & Patient Management
- Attend to patients in Outpatient (OPD), Inpatient (IPD), and Emergency wards.
- Take detailed medical histories, perform physical examinations, and formulate basic treatment/management plans.
- Monitor admitted patients, conduct regular ward rounds, and record vital statistics and progress notes.
- Administer emergency first aid, basic life support, and stabilize critical patients prior to specialist intervention.
2. Specialist & Consultant Coordination
- Assist attending Senior Consultants, Surgeons, and Specialists during clinical procedures and ward rounds.
- Promptly report changes in patient conditions, critical lab values, or diagnostic findings to the respective department head.
- Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries and brief patients on home care and medication compliance.
3. Emergency & Shift Operations
- Handle rotational duty shifts (Morning, Evening, Night) to ensure 24/7 medical cover across hospital units.
- Perform routine medical procedures such as IV cannulation, catheterization, wound dressing, suturing, and Ryle's tube insertion.
4. Documentation & Statutory Compliance
- Maintain accurate, legible, and updated Medico-Legal Cases (MLC) records and hospital charts.
- Comply with infection control standards, hospital safety guidelines, and clinical protocols set by the Medical Council.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹61,000.00 per month
