Job Summary

Byte Crest Technologies is looking for motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer freshers to join its technical team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Python, SQL, databases, data processing, and data management. Candidates should be interested in working with data pipelines, database systems, and data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines.
• Collect, clean, transform, and organize structured and unstructured data.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Use Python for basic data processing and automation tasks.
• Assist in developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows.
• Work with databases to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and troubleshoot data quality and processing issues.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other technical team members.
• Maintain technical documentation for data workflows and processes.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with data structures and data manipulation.
• Basic understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Excel and data handling.
• Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of database management systems.
• Good analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience can apply.
• Academic projects or practical experience involving Python, SQL, or databases will be an advantage.
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
