About this internship
Role & responsibilities
Join our Bangalore team as an Operations Manager Intern, the engine behind our day-to-day delivery. You will plan engineer capacity, keep the ticket queue moving, track customer projects, support ISO 27001 and DPDP&GDPR compliance, and connect Bangalore with our Swedish head office. No experience required, just drive, structure and ambition.
Capacity Planning
- Maintain the weekly capacity plan: who is available, who is on leave or on-call, and how much engineer time is committed to customers and projects
- Flag overloads and gaps early so the Operations Manager can rebalance before deadlines slip
- Track utilization and prepare a simple weekly capacity summary for management
Ticket Management & Assignment
- Monitor the incoming ticket queue throughout the shift and assign tickets to the right engineer based on skill, priority and current load
- Keep tickets moving: chase stale tickets, confirm SLA deadlines are met, and escalate when something is at risk
- Make sure every ticket is correctly categorized, prioritized and documented, and prepare daily and weekly ticket reports (volume, SLA compliance, backlog, aging)
Project Management
- Maintain project plans and trackers for ongoing customer and internal projects
- Follow up on tasks, owners and deadlines, and prepare status updates for the Operations Manager and customers
- Organize kick-offs, stand-ups and review meetings, and keep minutes and action items
- Identify blockers and dependencies and raise them before they turn into delays
Compliance
- Support our ISO 27001 work and customer compliance requirements such as NIS2 and GDPR: keep policies, registers and evidence up to date
- Track that access reviews, change approvals, backups and security checks are done on time and documented
- Help prepare for internal and external audits and customer security questionnaires
- Follow up on findings and corrective actions until they are closed
Internal Management
- Support the daily running of the Bangalore office: schedules, shift rosters, leave tracking and onboarding of new team members
- Document processes and help build and maintain internal playbooks and SOPs
- Coordinate between the Bangalore team and the Swedish head office on operational matters
- Prepare data and dashboards for management reviews and look for ways to simplify how the team works
Who we are looking for
We are not looking for prior professional experience - we are looking for the right person. You have:
- Lots of energy and a genuine drive to learn, take on more and make things happen
- No fear of responsibility - you would rather own a problem than wait to be told what to do
- The ambition to progress quickly into a leading operations role, and the discipline to earn it
- A structured, organized working style with strong attention to detail - nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
- Calm under pressure and the ability to juggle several priorities at once
- Clear written and spoken English - you communicate daily with engineers, customers and our Swedish team
- Confidence with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and web-based tools, and an analytical mindset that turns numbers into a clear picture
- Curiosity about IT, cloud and AI - you want to understand how the technology creates value for customers
You are studying, or have recently completed, a degree in for example business, engineering, computer science or operations - but your attitude matters more than your background.
