Job Summary
Galaxy Software Services is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Python Developer Interns to join its development team in Pune. The selected candidates will assist in developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications using Python. This internship is suitable for candidates who want to strengthen their programming skills and gain practical experience in application development, database integration, and software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining applications using Python.
- Write clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Support the development and integration of APIs and backend services.
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs.
- Perform basic testing and debugging to improve application reliability.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members on assigned projects.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and code management.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards.
- Learn and apply appropriate software development practices.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python programming.
- Understanding of variables, data types, loops, functions, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with data structures and basic algorithms.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Understanding of REST APIs and web development fundamentals is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively.
