Adaptive Planning - Support consultant

We are seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to support the enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions. In this hands-on role, you will partner closely with Finance, FP&A, HR, and key business stakeholders to architect and build scalable Adaptive Planning models, automated integrations, custom workflows, and high-impact executive dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Discovery: Lead requirements-gathering and discovery sessions to translate complex financial business processes into robust Adaptive Planning architecture.
• Model Design & Configuration: Architect scalable models across accounts, levels, dimensions, attributes, versions, and assumptions. Build complex modeled sheets, cube sheets, and standard sheets.
• Financial & Operational Planning: Configure driver-based budgeting, rolling forecasts, what-if scenario planning, and granular workforce/headcount/compensation models.
• Reporting & Analytics: Build dynamic dashboards, matrix reports, and financial packages using Adaptive OfficeConnect (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Integrations & Data Pipelines: Build and maintain data integrations connecting Adaptive Planning with ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials), HCM, payroll, and CRM systems via Data Designer/Data Integration.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Model Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with cube sheets, modeled sheets, complex formula logic, allocations, and multi-currency/multi-entity setups.
• Reporting & Integrations: Demonstrated experience with OfficeConnect, management dashboards, and data loading/validation pipelines.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of driving discovery sessions directly with Finance leadership.

High-Value Niche Skills (Pluses)

• Workday Adaptive Planning Certification.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials, Workday HCM, EIB, Studio, or Prism Analytics.
• Background migrating clients from legacy platforms (Great Plains, Hyperion, Anaplan, Excel) to Workday Adaptive.
