Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong Python and FastAPI experience to build scalable highperformance backend systems The role involves developing APIs working with PostgreSQL improving performance and supporting productionready applications

Experience

3 to 7 years of backend development experience 2 years of experience with Python and FastAPI or similar frameworks 2 years of PostgreSQL experience

Key Responsibilities

Design and build RESTful APIs using FastAPI Develop backend services and business logic Work with PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries Implement authentication authorization and validation Write unit and integration tests Support Docker CICD and production deployments Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance Collaborate with frontend product and DevOps teams

Python FastAPI

Strong Python 38 knowledge Experience with FastAPI async programming and Pydantic Familiarity with API documentation middleware and exceptions

Database

Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills Experience with indexing transactions JSONJSONB and query optimization

Tools Concepts

Git Docker CICD pipelines REST APIs JWTOAuth authentication Testing tools such as Pytest Logging debugging and monitoring

Preferred Experience

Redis or caching solutions Message queues like Kafka RabbitMQ or Celery Microservices experience Cloud platforms like AWS Azure or GCP Kubernetes or container orchestration Observability tools like Grafana Prometheus or ELK
