Job Summary

Wits Innovation Lab is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, database testing, and Playwright, along with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Perform functional, regression, and automation testing.
• Conduct API testing to validate application functionality and performance.
• Perform database testing and validate data using SQL queries.
• Work with Playwright for test automation.
• Identify, report, track, and verify software defects.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure product quality.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Good programming knowledge of Java.
• Practical experience in API Testing.
• Strong understanding of SQL and Database Testing.
• Familiarity with Playwright.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking and defect management tools.
